Las Vegas, Nevada - Veterans of OEF and civilians are assembling on the overpass ramp of the I-15 and Tropicana tomorrow,  Saturday June 21st, from 10am to 1pm to drop banners over the overpass in protest of our government attempting to re-instigate American influence over the Iraqi conflict.

Las Vegas activists are peacefully protesting the re-escalation of US military involvement in Iraq, as well as the complete disregard of the will of the American people in the decision to restart this globally unpopular war. Las Vegas activists are showing solidarity by taking part in the global protests with Veterans for Peace taking place in hundreds of cities and multiple countries June 19-21.

The group is inviting anyone willing to come and call for peace to the Tropicana/I-15 overpass. OEF will be holding up banners and homemade signs for PEACE and LOVE on the sidewalks overlooking the freeway, and inviting all drivers to show solidarity by honking their horns and inviting them to stop and stand with them.  "The time to stop the war and change the world is NOW."
