Henderson, Nevada - Registration for the city of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department’s 2013 winter/spring programs, events, classes, and activities begins at 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Patrons may register online; by mail; at the self-serve kiosks located at City Hall, 240 Water St.; Black Mountain Recreation Center, 599 Greenway Rd.; and Henderson Multigenerational Center, 250 S. Green Valley Pkwy.; or in person at any recreation center or indoor pool. Hundreds of programs and activities are available for people of all ages and abilities.

For the winter/spring session, 37 new programs and events have been added, including events focusing on bicycling, such as an organized family bike ride, children’s bike rodeo, and an inaugural Bicycle Swap and Rally. City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department FunCard gift cards may be used to pay for most programs and are accepted online and in person.
