Las Vegas, Nevada - The Charter Schools Association of Nevada has named Jim LaBuda, Ed.D. as their Interim Executive Director.  LaBuda will assist in implementing the organization’s mission of supporting and promoting quality educational standards in Nevada’s charter schools through professional development, public advocacy and public awareness.

LaBuda has an extensive background in Nevada education. He served as the interim Dean of Education and Vice Provost of Student Experience at Nevada State College. He was also a teacher and administrator for the Clark County School District. He promotes school choice for public education and is an advocate for quality education.
