Las Vegas, Nevada - EB5 Investors Magazine and are proud to host Congressman Jared Polis (D-CO, 2nd District), chair of the New Democrat Coalition’s Immigration Task Force, as the keynote speaker of the 2014 Las Vegas EB-5 Investors Conference.

The conference is set to take place on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas resort, and will welcome newcomers and seasoned professionals alike.

As an important ally on the Hill, Congressman Polis is an asset to the conference line up. "Congressman Polis is a known advocate of the EB-5 program. He truly understands the program and listens to stakeholders, even including TEA expansion language in a bill he sponsored in 2009," said Angelique Brunner of DC Regional Center.

Congressman Polis will be part of a conference program organized by EB-5 industry veterans and co-hosted by David Hirson of Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP; Joseph McCarthy of American Dream Fund; and Dawn Lurie of Polsinelli PC. In addition to these co-hosts, a diverse array of panels will feature Patrick Hogan of CMB Regional Centers and Henry Liebman of American Life Inc., two of the largest regional center operations; well-known EB-5 economist Kevin Wright of Wright Johnson LLC, and securities law guru Michael Homeier of Homeier & Law, among other highly experienced panelists.

"Due to the increased interest in the EB-5 federal program, the choice of venue and the cutting edge conference content, the Vegas seminar should exceed all expectations," said co-host Dawn Lurie of Polsinelli PC. Past AILA President Bernard P. Wolfsdorf of Wolfsdorf Immigration had this to say about a past conference, "The Southern California EB-5 Conference sponsored by EB5 Investors Magazine was the best one-day event I have attended in years. The combination of regional centers, immigration, corporate and securities lawyers, economists, and developers was remarkable.”

The conference agenda will feature multiple panels for beginner and advanced attendees. Topics to be covered include EB-5 financing in real estate development projects, the regional center application process, and the EB-5 visa program’s current regulatory climate.
