Las Vegas, Nevada - The Clark County Water Reclamation District (District) will be mailing its annual sewer service billing this week. The customer base is over 240,000 residential accounts and over 9,000 commercial accounts, a 2.4 % increase over last year's totals.
The sewer service rate was reduced to $221.09 per ERU (Equivalent Residential Unit) in 2013, and continues to be among the lowest charge in the area. Customers will receive a $12.00 discount, if the full annual bill is paid by July 31, 2016. Any outstanding balances for the year will be billed quarterly. A single family home is considered to be one ERU.
Customers have the ability to pay online at www.cleanwaterteam.com. The District recently revamped its website to make it more customer-friendly and easier to use. "Paying online is fast, secure and convenient." said County Commissioner Larry Brown, the District's Chair. "It's easy and your bill is paid within minutes." Customers may also pay in person, over the phone, or by mail. For further information on the annual sewer service billing, please call 702-668-8888 or visit www.cleanwaterteam.com.
