Las Vegas, Nevada - The Nevada Department of Health and Human Services will be hosting the Nevada Opioid Response Summit in Las Vegas on August 14 – 15, 2019 with stakeholders from all around Nevada.
This is the second Summit hosted by the State of Nevada to discuss this issue. The first, in the summer of 2016, included 500 participants and presentations from local, state and federal agencies which influenced Assembly Bill 474 that was passed by the Nevada Legislature and signed into law in 2017.
The 2019 Nevada Opioid Response Summit is an opportunity for health professionals, law enforcement, community partners, and other stakeholders to come together to review the successes and learn what partners are doing in this fight for Nevada communities.
The Summit will include Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak and Attorney General Aaron Ford, among other notable presenters.
