Las Vegas, Nevada - On November 22, 2020, at approximately 2:57 p.m., a critical injury traffic collision occurred on E. Charleston Boulevard west of Shiloah Drive. Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated that a 2005 Ford Focus was traveling west on E. Charleston Boulevard in the right of three travel lanes approaching Shiloah Drive.
A pedestrian was crossing E. Charleston Boulevard from south to north outside of a marked crosswalk. The pedestrian stopped at the raised center median, which separated the east and west travel lanes of E. Charleston Boulevard. After receiving medical treatment, the driver of the Ford was released from the hospital. The pedestrian was admitted and remained in critical condition. Driver impairment was not a factor in the collision.
