Las Vegas, Nevada - On November 22, 2020, at approximately 9:25 p.m., a fatal traffic collision occurred on South Durango Drive north of the West Flamingo Road intersection.

Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated a gray 2013 Mercedes CLS 55 was traveling south on South Durango Drive. A collision occurred when a pedestrian attempting to cross South Durango Drive outside of a marked crosswalk was struck by the Mercedes. Responding emergency medical services pronounced the pedestrian deceased on scene. The driver of the Mercedes remained on-scene and did not show signs of impairment. The pedestrian's death marks the 89th traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction for the year 2020.

The collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section.
