Las Vegas, Nevada - On November 12, 2020, at approximately 5:25 p.m., a fatal auto versus pedestrian collision occurred on Abels Lane, north of the East Lake Mead Boulevard intersection. Witness statements and evidence at the scene indicate a male pedestrian was operating a motorized wheelchair northbound on Abels Lane. An unknown vehicle was traveling north on Abels Lane approaching the pedestrian. A collision occurred when the vehicle struck the pedestrian. The vehicle then fled the scene without rendering aid.

Las Vegas, Nevada - In early June of 2020, the LVMPD began investigating a string of burglaries at home developments where appliances were being stolen from homes prior to owners moving in. These events were taking place in the southwest part of the valley spanning over three area commands. Over the next several months, detectives identified 30 events which cost builders over 200,000 dollars.

Las Vegas, Nevada - On November 10, 2020, at approximately 8:31 p.m., a fatal traffic collision occurred on W. Flamingo Road east of Ravenwood Drive. Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated that a 1994 Ford Probe was traveling in the right of three travel lanes east of Ravenwood Drive.

Las Vegas, Nevada - On October 30, 2020 at 11:32 a.m., LVMPD Dispatch received a report of a shooting which occurred at an apartment complex in the 4200 block of North Nellis Boulevard. During the incident, an 18-year-old male was sitting in his parked vehicle when an unidentified male approached him and fired one round, striking him. The victim was transported to UMC Trauma where he is in stable condition.
