Las Vegas, Nevada - Monday night, at approximately 7:02 p.m., an auto versus auto fatal traffic collision occurred at the intersection of N. Tenaya Way and Old Mission Drive. Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated that a 2011 Nissan Titan pick-up truck was traveling northbound Tenaya Way south of Old Mission Drive at a high rate of speed. A 2010 Audi Q7 was traveling southbound Tenaya Way and had just completed a U-turn and began traveling northbound. The front of the Nissan collided with the rear of the Audi.

Las Vegas, Nevada - The city of Las Vegas received a $950,000 grant from the Nevada Governor’s Office of Science, Innovation and Technology. The funds will be used to provide a wireless network that will offer enhanced connectivity to support Clark County School District (CCSD) students in communities of need as part of phase one of the city’s Advanced Connectivity for Community and Economic Development (ACCED) program.
