Las Vegas, Nevada - In early June of 2020, the LVMPD began investigating a string of burglaries at home developments where appliances were being stolen from homes prior to owners moving in. These events were taking place in the southwest part of the valley spanning over three area commands. Over the next several months, detectives identified 30 events which cost builders over 200,000 dollars.

Las Vegas, Nevada - On October 30, 2020 at 11:32 a.m., LVMPD Dispatch received a report of a shooting which occurred at an apartment complex in the 4200 block of North Nellis Boulevard. During the incident, an 18-year-old male was sitting in his parked vehicle when an unidentified male approached him and fired one round, striking him. The victim was transported to UMC Trauma where he is in stable condition.

Las Vegas, Nevada - On November 10, 2020, at approximately 3:38 p.m., a fatal-traffic collision occurred on W. Russell Road at the intersection with S. Lindell Road. Evidence at the scene and witnesses' statements indicated a 2004 GMC Yukon was traveling west on Russell Road before it struck a light pole on the northwest corner of the intersection.

Rouse of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
